Mark Day 7 of the Johnny Depp v. Amber Heard trial as the day the $100 million lawsuit went completely off the rails.

If you thought Johnny Depp’s friend testifying that the actor said he hoped Amber Heard’s ‘decomposing corpse’ in the ‘trunk of a Honda Civic’ was crazy, you wouldn’t. haven’t heard anything yet.

We knew this was coming. Almost exactly the same trial has already taken place in England in 2020 and it was complete madness back then too.

On Day 7 of that trial, however, with Johnny Depp on the stand, things got even weirder.

Some highlights…

When Depp was asked if he drank whiskey in the morning while filming The Lone Ranger, he replied, “Isn’t happy hour anytime?”

When Depp was shown a photo of marijuana in his recording studio, Amber Heard’s attorney asked, “That’s a photo of 4 pretty huge bags of marijuana, isn’t it? ” His answer ? “Yes sir, that’s a lot of marijuana.”

Johnny Depp was asked about the disturbing text messages he sent to Paul Bettany

The highlight of the day, however, is when Heard’s attorney showed Depp’s court text messages to actor Paul Bettany explaining how he wanted to do very bad things to Amber’s corpse. (Johnny Depp repeatedly mentioned talking about doing things to corpses in his lawsuit against Heard.)

In messages to Bettany, Depp wrote, “Let’s burn Amber!!!”

Bettany replied, “After thinking about it, I don’t think we should burn Amber – she’s delightful company and nice to watch, plus I’m not sure she’s a witch.” We could of course try the English course of action in these difficult situations – we do a drowning test. Thoughts? NB I have a swimming pool.

To which Depp replied, “Let’s drown her before we burn her!!! I’ll fuck up her burnt corpse afterwards to make sure she’s dead…”

“Did I read correctly? Heard’s attorney asked Depp.

“You certainly did,” he replied.

“You wrote that about the woman who would later become your wife?” asked the lawyer.

“Yes,” Depp replied.

In other texts presented by Heard’s attorney, Depp called her a dumb cow, an ugly whore, a worthless prostitute, and a filthy whore.

In earlier testimony, Depp apologized to the jury for the language he used in the texts, saying “in the heat of the pain I felt, I went to dark places.”
