The ESV Preaching Bible, Verse by Verse Edition

As for the version – the ESV – I really like it. As a friend of mine once said, “ESV is a sexy translation.”

He used the term to mean attractive and exciting.

I use all kinds of translations in my readings, namely NASB, NLT and NKJV. ESV is included in this list.

“We are building our entire future ministry around ESV. . . . The ESV satisfies the preaching, memorizing, study and reading needs of our church, from children to adults.
