GRAND RAPIDS, MI – According to a 2020 LifeWay Research study, 57% of Protestant worshipers say it is difficult for them to understand the Bible when they read it on their own. To help clear the scriptures from this confusion, Bible Gateway, the world’s most visited Christian website, is sponsoring the free online “30 Days to Understand the Bible” Bible Study with Pastor and Author Max Anders, September 14 until October 30, 2020 Free registration for the event is here.
In this video series, shown once a week for six weeks, Anders will present his simplified Bible story arc to help participants visualize the main themes of the Bible, a three-minute summary of the uniform history of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation; and the 10 Fundamental Beliefs Christians have adhered to over the past 2,000 years. Students of the series will easily learn the structure of the Bible on their way to understanding the message of the Bible.
“If you want to learn architecture, you first have to learn how buildings are put together,” says Anders. “And if you want to learn to understand the Bible, you must first learn how the Bible is constructed. The problem most of us have with the Bible is that we have started to study the details without ever getting the big picture. No wonder we are confused!
