“It’s been nice to have that extra time to plan.”

He continued: “There wasn’t this pressure on me to move here urgently.

“It gave me more time to gather information, prepare for this move and meet the challenge of having to adapt to a change of club and a change of country,” speaking during a meeting with Sky Sports.

Since signing for the Sky Blues, Julian Alvarez has garnered a huge following among Manchester City fans.

During the player’s presentation, a number of City supporters were spotted wearing River Plate and Argentina shirts with the much-loved youngster’s name on the back.

The buzz comes from the fact that Julian Alvarez is a diamond in the rough, as well as the talent often compared to club icon Sergio Agüero.

With the Manchester City starlet’s fanbase growing daily, he shared his thoughts on whether he felt the weight of the expectations of millions around the world.

“There have been a lot of comments about me and messages sent to me directly since I signed for City at the end of January.

“There is always pressure, of course. What I want to do is bring happiness to the fans with assists and goals.”

“He’s a great player, a great player. I’ve seen him score a lot of goals all over Europe. It’s very good for a young player like me to play with the best to learn,” he said. -he explains.
