Hope for those with chronic pain

Chronic pain is enveloping. Daily life is hazy and hazy, and normal functions are intolerable. We are late and short, unable to keep up with the pace of life. The numbing power of insomnia uplifts the platform of pain at the forefront of our minds. The people we love look at us with eggshell gazes, unsure of how to get into and around our fractured sense of reality. Help seems desperate, and hope seems fleeting, as we drift in desperation for a delayed recovery.

Unless…

We choose to remember to whom the pain responds.

Unless…

We focus on the Voice which is greater than all the others.

Remove the pain of the last word by removing it with the sound of GodThe promises.

Today’s verse refers to two passages from the Old Testament. Isaiah 25: 8, which says, “He will swallow up death forever.” The Sovereign Lord will wipe tears from all faces; he will take away the disgrace of his people from all the earth. The Lord has spoken. (NAV)

His love nourishes our hope, even postponed. The pain does not always diminish at the thought of our great God, but our hope in Him has a healing power. Even science tells us that positive people have a better chance of recovery.

The source of all positivity comes from the God who created this mentality.

The second verse referenced in Revelation 21: 4 is Isaiah 65: 16-17:

“Whoever calls on a blessing in the land will do so by the one test of God; whoever takes an oath in the land swears by the one true God. Because past troubles will be forgotten and hidden from my eyes. “See, I will create new heavens and a new earth. The first things won’t be remembered, they won’t come to mind. ‘ »VIN

Whoever created us and knows all of our days before we start living them, empowers us to bear the weight of this life, ensuring that relief comes … whether it’s on this side of heaven or not .

“For people who feel trapped in pain – whether in a broken home, in economic misery or in fear – for all of us, Heaven promises a future time, much longer and more substantial than the time we spend on this earth. It will be a time of health, fullness, pleasure and peace. The Bible began with this promise in the book of Genesis. It ends with this same promise in Revelation, giving a guarantee of our future reality. The end will only be the beginning. Bible Notes for NIV Students

There may be no way out of the pain we find ourselves in. Not in this lifetime. But even if it does, we have an amazing healing ahead of us, thanks to Christ’s sacrifice on the Cross.

Father,

We praise you for your healing power. Even though it’s not on this earth or in this lifetime, we know You promise to heal us. Thank you for your loyalty and forgive us for letting pain invade our thoughts and our lives. Help us, Lord. Give us relief from the pain of this life, if not just as a reminder of Your promise of healing in heaven.

In jesus‘ Name,

Amen.
